A person with a very squatty, wide stance. Used in larger surf for better stability, but is also characteristic of a beginner. Also a moniker for most of the surfers during the spring and summer months at Scripps Pier in La Jolla, California who typically have a stinkbug or squat-style stance. But this is not Scripps, California so we will just calll this fellow stinky.
This guy was actually one of best out this particular day. He was all over the waves carving it up.

I enjoyed shooting these guys. I want to go back out. Want to improve on focus, cropping, timing, settings. Great place to practice.
