photoblog image San Francisco Bay Sunrise 2

San Francisco Bay Sunrise 2

This Sunday morning, 6:30 am, I rolled over and saw a red sky. It did not take long for me to jump out of bed and stumble fall outside like the house was on fire. Not sure if the neighbors saw me, there goes that crazy guy again, but it was worth it. This is a stitch in Photoshop from 7 shots. I did some minor adjustments in Camera RAW but very close to the default settings with only +3 Vibrance and +6 Saturation. So this picture is close to what I saw. I went back to bed and when I woke up I wondered if I had dreamt the whole thing. Wasn't until this evening that I remembered to review the shots.

Well that was some dream you had.....I hope the old saying of 'red sky at morning' didn't come true...Great shot.
John Eagle: Actually it did come true. Its raining right now. They knew a thing or two back then... before smart phones and weather apps. wink
So glad you happened to look out the window with your blurry sleepy eyes!!! And your camera made up for the blurry sleepy eyes by taking the amazing, clear, colorful photos you had in your dreamy head!
John Eagle: I am glad as well, thank you.
Good for you, John, to get the sleepy out of your eyes to make this happen. And it's good to see you again!!!!
John Eagle: Thank you. Good to see you as well.

You have a glorious view and is bound to see may such "apparitions". Excellent work.
John Eagle: Thanks. I hope so. I am curious to see how many variations I can capture. I want to set up a jig so to speak so I can get the same angle, cropping, perspective etc every time.
It is gorgeous, I can tell you that.
John Eagle: Thank you.
