USS Hornet Pin-up Girls

Pin-up Extravaganza aboard the USS Hornet

This is Cynthia McKeag.

Cynthia is a passionate model. It was cool to watch her effectively work the plane into her poses.

The event was a Calumet Photographic workshop.

We were divided into groups, 3 to 4 photographers per group. There were 6 stations, 6 models. We were allotted 4 minutes at each station.

At some stations if we were not shooting we were assiting - holding reflectors, etc. But sometimes we were free to sit, roam or sneak snap shots from the way back.

This "snap shot" was with natural light on the Hanger Deck - mostly enclosed but with a little light from the HUGE airplane elevator and other portals.

I did a little fixing of the noise from the High ISO and also reduced the saturation a little to try and compliment the 1940' look.

This is a real good pin-up picture. I am surprised there are not more comments.

She can cause a stir in the hornet's nest smile
John Eagle: Thanks. Would love to say this shot was due to my great ability as a photographer wink but this was one of those in the right place at the right time kinda shots. Worked out nice. No comment on the more comments ;P
