The Day of the Dead - Dia de los Muertos - parade followed on the heals of Halloween - Monday night the 5th. It took place in San Francisco's Mission district.

Dia de los Muertos is a traditional Meso-American holiday dedicated to the ancestors; it honors both death and the cycle of life.

I am please with his portrait. Sometimes they work out nicely with little post production or cropping.
