photoblog image Obama Week

Obama Week

I shot this about a month ago.

I guess this artist is saying Obama is really an evil joker and the joke is on us because he is bringing us (the U.S.) socialism? Or something like that.

I think it is an intriguing image and for that reason like it as an image or piece of artwork BUT it also prays on peoples ignorance and is misleading.

In my never ending quest to record urban street art and graffiti I shot this with my cell phone. Noty bad resolution.

It's effective artwork but I don't agree with the sentiments
John Eagle: Yeah. I don't agree ether. This image summarizes some of the hysteria being whipped up.

Indeed intreeging. The fact that it is a little out of focus adds to the confusion on the subject! What's the problem America..Socialism never did any harn to anyone
John Eagle: HA Ha HA the joke is on us. Socialism is the big bad wolf or so that is what they would like you to believe.
I think most Brits are watching the American political scene with a mixture of incredulity and revulsion. How can the mood have turned so nasty so quickly?
John Eagle: I think most (U.S.) Americans say: "I did my part, I voted, now I want to go back to being lazy. So a small number, who are sore losers, are making a big noise and of course the news media eats it up.

And sub-prime lending is not socialism? Always interesting how people misunderstand concepts like socialism.
Bailing out companies like General Motors is pure socialism - the reasons are only altruistic of nature. I remember the bailing out started before Obama became president.
So maybe there is something else behind the anti-Bama kind of posturing?
John Eagle: What exactly is sub-prime lending? I guess it means it gives people a chance at a loan who could not otherwise afford it. Wow, that does sound likeSoicalism. And Bailing out or proping up companies, yeah that sounds socialist.

But yes I think there is something else behind it. I think a small group of poor losers are behind it. The people who were making a monetary killing off Bush being president, making billions off the wars, billions off sub-prime loans and basically gambling with our money. And now they are now holding the U.S. hostage and demanding ransom (bailouts) for the return of the economy.

And then there is what Former president Jimy Carter said... it's Racism. Could it be?
