RED

Good ole Red. I have seen this a few times. It has never been painted over. So this time I thought why not share it. I have recently taken to documenting street art, graffiti, etc.  I will share the unique and unusual ones with you.

The location of this piece is in San Francisco, near Civic Center in a back lot called Physco City. Years ago it was covered in graffiti murals. I went for a visit and found most all of it painted over.

Love it, John. It'll make a good series.
John Eagle: Thanks, Should be fun. Seems the graffiti artist out there have a good sense of humor.
love it, just one suggestion, I think it could use a little crop, the top of the building distracts from the powerful statement of the graffiti against the blue sky, my 2 cents
John Eagle: Thanks for the cropping tip. I agree about the top being distracting. I just felt cropping in made it feel boxed in. Possibly a different angle would work better

This can become an interesting series. I like this one for its blue skies and red bricks.
John Eagle: I hope so. Choosing a theme helps give me some focus and direction when I go out to shoot. And it is amazing once you give your self a theme what you start to see that you did not see before.

Written to make sure everybody knows what colour it is wink
John Eagle: I thought... what if I went to a white building and wrote "white" in red paint. Nope doesn't seem to work. Didn't try it, just in the mind's eye.
