Here I am raking alfalfa hay at 6:00 a.m. Not too early but early enough for a converted city boy. I am raking 2 wind rows into one. Raking turns the hay for bettter / more even drying and it also combines smaller wind rows for bailing.
My dad had already been up for awhile, checking his water etc. My uncle came along behind me and bailed the hay. No idle hands or idle time on the farm thats for sure.
