How much Wood, would a Woodchuck Chuck...

...if he owned an original 1952 Woodie?

This is Dave Devlin and his '52 Buick Super Stationwagon. This beauty is all original even the paint job. Mr. Devlin is the 5th owner and apparently there were only 1,641 ever made.

I shot this at the Greg Borrelli's May Madness Classic Car Parade, San Rafael, CA. It is the longest running classic car and street rod show in Northern California.

What a beautie, John! Believe it or not, my maternal g'pa was a Ford car dealer in NYC eons ago and gave my mom and dad a Woodie when I was a wee lass. I still remember it. I'm guessing it was in the early '50s. And you know that we have a postal stamp commemorating it! smile

There's one very proud owner, look how he's not really leaning on his precious car and also how very shiny his shoes are.
