Breaking

It's been a week since I have posted . Busy, busy busy. Also grew tired of my Canada shots, seems so long ago.

Javier, Bernice and I took a trip to the city (San Francisco) for a little photo promenade. Over the next few days-week you will see the results. We sojourned down to Pier 39. Yuck, but a lot of good photo ops. Javier tells me I need to photograph people. Enough of the sculptures. So here is my first. We came across these young guys breaking at Fisherman’s Wharf. Very athletic. I added a little radial blur to the background to help pop the dancer. Turned out nice I think.

This is nice, I like the pp, it does add some real pop to the shot.
John Eagle: Thanks.

Hello! Wow man, That is a fantastic capture - the effect you gave it only makes it more powerful! A very engergetic, athletic gentleman. Very cool man, Javier was onto something here! You have done a really awesome job here - good framing. The natural light looks great - what time of day was this shot? In my opinion, I think break dancing, and acrobatic feats make superb pictures. I am enjoying your work, bravo!

Regards,
Raymond.
John Eagle: Thank you. I took quite a few shots of these guys but this is by far the best. I took this at 4:00 p.m. So the sun was low in the sky.
A great shot, with a wonderful moove effect and an artistic composition !
Thumbs up !!
John Eagle: Thanks. It is wonderful to watch these guys. I may go back for more.

This is fantastic, John, especially for your first. OMG. It's great. The blur is perfect. And Man. Look at those abs! You should put this up on iStock. Lots of people would buy it, I'm sure!
John Eagle: Thanks Ginnie. Yeah these guys are insanely athletic, slim, tone and muscular. The blur definitely helped pull the photo together. Thanks for your vote of confidence. I will check iStock out.

You popped him alright. A very applicable application for radial blur. You can Javier from me you know how to do people - you just maybe had to prove it to him.

An excellent capture.
John Eagle: Thanks. I may have gotten lucky. We shall see. Javier is a great photography companion. He pushes my otherwise conservative approach. We see things differently but both agree to what we think is good/works and why.
Very good work. Nice radial blur
John Eagle: Thank you.
This is an excellent action shot! Very well captured!
John Eagle: Thank you. After this shot I do not want to even post the other breaking shots non of them measure up.
