Rake

This is an old horse drawn rake. Used to rake hay. One would rake the hay after cutting to either dry it out or move it around for bailing. Still actually in good condition. Just needs some oil and a horse.

These pics almost have a Wild West look to them, John. This rake is so well defined in those tall grasses, even with the fence in the background. You really do need to do something with these pics.
John Eagle: I do have plans. I want to create a coffee table photo book. I plan to do this through Blurb.com. I was hoping to get some snoow shots while I was home but no snow So I will have to wait. I was thinking of taking more or less the same pictures across all the seasons. We shall see. I think I need to get some people shots but my family is not very much into that. It will take some work. And animals preferably wild such as dear, quail, geese, bobcats, mountain lions and coyotes.

So it is a project. Wish me luck.

I see now what you meant with your comment yesterday. Since you have a rake here you can check http://louis.shutterchance.com/photoblog/43173.htm for another rake.

Yours is a great picture and the colours are very good. Like it.
John Eagle: Checked out your rake. COOL! I like the setting with the building in the background. Let's hook up some horses and go for a trot or should say rake?
