I was born and raised on a farm in the eastern Sierra Nevada's, California. The Sierra Nevada, meaning "snowy range" in Spanish, is a mountain range of eastern California between the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys and the Nevada border and from the Mojave Desert to the Cascade Range. The Sierra Nevada's are unique for many reasons, two of which are it's "mountain wave" and "rain shadow".

I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work as a Production Director for Axion Design, a package design firm.

I first took to photography in 2000 during a trip to Spain and Morocco but did not pursue it after my trip. I picked up the camera again this year and the rest you can see in my blog.
