photoblog image Golden Gate Bridge

Golden Gate Bridge shot last March at twilight.

I have to admit i added the wave from a different exposure.

We arrived just in time to shoot. I did not have a tripod so set my camera on a post and took some long-ish exposures.

This one tunred out nice but I liked the breaking wave from another shot that is not quite right. So I combined them - psd mask.

I suppose if I were hard core I would go back again and again trying to get the perfect combination of twilight and wave breaking (probably at low tide). But I am not so Photoshop is my savior. :P

I think you've done a wonderful job. The bridge is a beautiful shot, and the added wave suits the mood perfectly!
John Eagle: Thank you.

It is quite something how the hardcores can plan a shot. The wave is well added. I think I wouldn't have known if you haven't spilled the beans smile
John Eagle: Yeah, photoshop is my alternative to being a hardcore.

I wouldn't have known you added the wave either, John. HA! The possibilities blow the mind. smile
